Born and raised in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, a love of language took Aaron abroad for six years, where he earned a Master’s degree in teaching with an emphasis on self-directed and online learning, before returning to Portland, Oregon.
A further love of communicating and writing led to founding Bridgetown Public Relations in 2016. Working with a variety of clients from small businesses, to startups and crowdfunding, to local theater productions, and multiple non-profits, he has helped businesses succeed in broadening their audiences and customer base through marketing and public relations and secured articles and interviews in numerous local and regional media outlets, as well as national outlets like The Today Show and The New York Times.
Outside the office, Aaron can usually be found fly fishing Oregon’s streams, kayaking, or hiking and mushrooming in the woods with his family and Airedale Charlie.

Image3D - Image3D allows customers to make View-Master-style 3D viewers with their own pictures. An intensive media and influencer campaign with BTPR led to Image3D’s first seven figure year in the company’s history.
Warfighter Outfitters
- This veteran-run non-profit works to reduce veteran suicide through veteran-only outdoors fishing, hunting, and works projects. Working within the non-profit’s budget constraints, BTPR secured numerous local and regional articles, interviews, and TV spots designed to raise awareness of its mission, and raised thousands of dollars to help get more veterans out on trips on the water and in the woods.
Tesla City Stories
- Longtime monthly serial performance in Portland, The Tesla City Stories takes audience members back to the golden age of radio with talented voice actors, old-time jazz performances, and on-stage sound effects. A combination of local media efforts and paid social media advertising has helped keep this show running into its ninth season.
The Northwest Steelheaders - Oregon’s oldest outdoors conservation organization, the Northwest Steelheaders work to restore salmon and steelhead habitat and population, and educate the public on fishing and conservation. BTPR worked pro bono to help rebrand the organization, its website, newsletter, and quarterly magazine, and grow its online presence through organic social media.
BnR Tackle - BTPR helped this fishing tackle company launch a new product: The Scent Shot, now available in sporting goods stores across the country.
Mindcurrent - BTPR worked with Mindfulness app and tech startup Mindcurrent to build its subscriber base following the app’s launch in 2018 with a mix of media outreach and thought leadership from the company’s founders and experts on mindfulness and meditation.
SKWRL - Aaron ran a full-service marketing and media relations campaign for the crowdfunding launch of The SKWRL Kit, including organic and paid social, email marketing, and crowdfunding media relations. The campaign reached its funding goal in under 36 hours.
